CE Thomas Company actively maintains a mandatory, corporate-wide comprehensive Injury and Illness Prevention program. The health, safety and well-being of all employees is of primary importance and consideration during all company operations. It is the goal of CE Thomas to provide a safe and healthful environment for all employees and visitors.

In support of this goal, every employee is required to follow the guidelines established in the company Illness and Injury Prevention Program Manual (IIPP). Cooperation in detecting and controlling hazards is a mandatory condition of employment for all employees.

No CET employee is required or allowed to work at a job site that is unsafe or unhealthful. Each employee has the ability and duty to recognize, report, and act on hazardous situations before they can lead to illness or injury.

We also have a long-standing Vehicle Safety Program which rewards each employee annually for exemplary driving and vehicle care/maintenance. These rewards include safety key-chains, gift certificates and a jacket which includes an arm patch for every year the employee maintains these high standards. Proudly, many of our longest-term employees have earned more than 20 consecutive patches!

The Safety Committee, chaired by Greg Thomas, supervised by JR Contreras and comprised of multiple department leads and employees meet on a monthly basis to ensure current company policies are being enforced and followed properly.
